Clay

The clay material that I use is porcelain, Porcelain is a type of ceramic material that is made from a specific type of clay known as kaolin. This clay is known for its strength, white, and its ability to withstand high temperatures. 

The use of porcelain has a long history and is highly valued for its delicate appearance and durability. It is commonly used to create a wide range of products including dinnerware or decorative items.

The first step in the ceramic process is to prepare the clay by crushing and grinding it into a fine powder to remove any impurities and create a uniform consistency.

Once the clay is prepared, it can be shaped into the desired form

The shaped clay is then left to dry slowly to remove the moisture and harden the clay before firing. This can be done at room temperature or in a controlled drying environment.
